Everyday we are woken up to cares, worries and anticipations that often ring louder than our own thoughts - let alone those of God. Hearing God's voice in the hustle and bustle of life can prove to be an impossible task if we are not acquainted with Him. In the book of Psalms God promises to open our ears to Him and to teach us to discern His voice.

John 10: 4 (NIV) "...and His sheep follow Him because they know His voice."

Jeremiah 29 is filled with promises about God taking us to places beyond our wildest imaginations and we can rest assured that we will not miss anything because our ears are pierced by His Word opening us up to a whole new dimension of knowing Him and His will if we will obey.

Psalm 40: 6, "Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but my ears You have pierced. Burnt offerings You did not require."

2 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV), "However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” the things God has prepared for those who love Him"

Knowing His voice means we will know His will. We will then evolve into being all that He has called us to be. His Spirit dwells within us. His Spirit enables us to follow Him. His words are then fulfilled about us.
