Submission & Guidance
There is not much a man can do in his own. The greatest skill or education cannot lead a man or open doors.
"A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without Him, who can eat or find enjoyment? To the man who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner He gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind." Ecclesiastes 2:24-26 (NIV)
Do not boast in the flesh but in the Spirit. It is better to celebrate what God has done than your own works. In everything God makes us beautiful. He wants us to put effort in everything, then He will do what we cannot do.
Greater is what God does than anything that we can do on our own.
Do you have a plan in your heart or do you have something you hope for? Trust God to do it for you.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
Therefore, whatever it is that you are seeking to do, surrender it to God. God has a way of asking it beautiful and making your journey towards it purposeful. He has things He wants us to do as much as He has things He wants to do for us. If we submit ourselves to Him He will do the things we ask of Him.
"Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun." Psalm 37:4-6 (NIV)
As you continue with everything that you do, ask God to bless it. As you pursue your dreams, ask God to lead you and He will lead you in a purposeful way towards fruitfulness.
